Every year UBC emits 7000+ undergraduate students into the job market. Out of these 7000, what makes some climb above others in their job success is understanding the job market is ever changing and organic. Knowledge that applies yesterday is yesteryears in this fast paced post-modern business world. Fast Company magazine put forward a list of top jobs every year as an analysis to this evolving job market. This in turn provide us as students with an insider understanding as to how we should prepare and position ourselves for the upcoming. This workshop will use this information and translate it into knowledge and wisdom for our students growth and development.

LPI(Language Proficiency Index)是卑詩大 學、西門菲莎大學及其它大專採用為評估英語能 力的考試,影響學生進專上學院的機會,和能否 修讀大學第一年的英文課。
使者學生中心邀請現職LPI評卷員 Mrs Julienne Tang主講並提供LPI 練習題目,現場指導學生如 何書寫一篇符合四至五等級的短文,及探討華裔 學生寫短文時常犯的錯誤。工作坊後,講員可以 為學生即時解答有關 LPI 的疑問。
