計劃目標:

為青少年提供不同的機會去發掘及發揮他們的潛質與專長。學生不單可以提升自己的專業態度，個人紀律，團隊合作精神，人際關係，組織及領袖技巧，以及學習如何計劃自己的前途，更可以藉此計劃完成中學畢業要求，即「畢業過渡學習(Graduation Transition)」內的「社區聯繫(Community Connections)」部份。

This program provides opportunities foryouth and students to explore their gifts and potentials. Students will be able to develop their professional attitude, personal
discipline, team spirit, relational skills, organizational and leadership skills, and to plan for their own future and career through this program, while at the same time fulfill
the Community Connections requirement of secondary school’s Graduation Transition program.

我們既然得到這麼好的禮物，有沒有想過藉著這機會讓更多人得到幫助呢？

使者協會一直以來為年青人提供成長所需要的協助。無論是升學輔導，領袖訓練，生命成長指引，或是屬靈裝備，藉著面談，轉介，講座，電台或互聯網等媒介，幫助學生們建立有目標有意義的人生。

作為一所無政府資助的非牟利機構，使者經常於財政上出現緊張。可是，我們不斷經歷著上帝豐足的供應，也見到很多有心人以金錢支持我們，令我們十分感動。

很多願意關心年青人的朋友，透過參與「一代夢想」，用每月$25或以上的定期捐獻，直接資助使者各部門的需要。我們相信，只要每位有心人能出一點點力量，就能讓更多迷失的年青人從成長中得到需要的支援，尋找到生命的方向。

今年十二月，為了鼓勵更多朋友參與「一代夢想」行動，只要願意加入「一代夢想」行列，以每月至少$25支持使者事工一年或以上，捐款者就會獲贈使者2008年特別活動「敢攀逆旅行山籌款日」的特製T-shirt一件。這件T-shirt是由名設計師Tony Wrong設計的。Tony Wrong設計的T-Shirt及潮流物品為現時年輕人的潮流指標，作品暢銷全球，包括加拿大，美國，香港，日本，法國等潮流熱點。

除了可以自己支持使者的「一代夢想」行動以外，我們亦鼓勵大家以「一代夢想」作為聖誕禮物。你可以以其他人的名義登記「一代夢想」，為他/她以每月$25支持使者事工，我們就會為你寄一張精美的聖誕咭給你的朋友，告訴他/她你已用他的名義支持使者「一代夢想」的事工。我們更會為你的朋友送上一套三張特別為不同人士設計的專題講座錄音光碟(CD)，包括：

﹣A. 打拼職場的呼召 –工作的意義和事業的尋索

﹣B. 回到世界中心 –以弗所書釋經講座

﹣C. 父母唔易做 –家長與年青子女相處

隨碟附送聚會程序與討論問題，簡單將錄音講座變成週會聚會。而下年年底，你的朋友將會收到此奉獻的收據，作退稅之用。

希望大家可以把握這好時機，參與我們的「一代夢想」，讓更多學生得到幫助的同時，也可以令自己變得更快樂！

Taking the words from Charles Dickens,
now is

"the age of wisdom, the age of foolishness,
the epoch of belief, the epoch of incredulity,
the season of Light, the season of Darkness"

Most of us when we heard the news of the Canadian political parties joining in the coalition, we reacted in disbelief, hopelessness, or contrary in anger and outrage. As our emotions subside, the fact remains our country facing is yet another turning point -- one that as responsible citizen and as faithful Christians should stand up and voice out our opinion and rejection of this matter.

Nevertheless, our physical presence in the upcoming nation-wide rally should not be our only response; especially when we are children of God and disciples of Jesus Christ.

As "everything is spiritual", what our country is facing is also a spiritual matter. Much like the Israelites in the age of the Judges, their actions in worshipping various other gods and violating the covenant with God, provoked God to anger and resulted in the tests God put before Israel. Canada is a nation that has sinned before the eyes of God, and doing so, we must repent.
We, as citizens of this nation, must repent.
We, as Christ's Church on the earth for not having diligently fulfill our duty as light and salt, must repent.
We, as Christians in this country, must repent on behalf of our country.
We must be on guard for our country, and stand up in the face of evil.
We must be the watchmen for our own country.

Hence, on behalf of Ambassadors For Christ in Canada, I am calling a
"Repentance Prayer Meeting for Canada" 「認罪守望祈禱會」.
I am calling all Christians who are willing to take upon the task to be the watchmen for Canada to join us, in repent, and on guard for our much-loved country.
I pray that God's mercy will come upon our land.
I pray that God's anger will pass over us.
I pray that God's abundance grace will bestow upon us and forgive us.

I urge you, join me, at 10:00AM PST this Saturday, Dec. 6th, 2008, in a Repentance Prayer Meeting for Canada.
It will be held in AFC RoomC, address at:

《CrossCurrent - a short course on healing》

"Whoever is thirsty, let him come; whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life" - Revelation 22:17

CrossCurrent provides a spring of water for thirsty souls. As an open, Christ-centered program, CrossCurrent helps men and women grapple with the truth of their relationships and sexuality. The eight-week program is available to anyone who wants to begin the healing journey.

WHO IS THAT FOR?

As an introductory discipleship program, CrossCurrent is open to anyone who welcomes the healing ministry of the Holy Spirit, desires meaningful relationships with men and women, and wants to be honest with others about the broken areas of their life.

WHAT IS INVOLVED?

The eight weeks of the CrossCurrent provide an overview of the longer and more in-depth Living Waters program. Each CrossCurrent session involves a time of worship, teaching, prayer and small group discussion. Themes for each evening include:

- Jesus and the real self

- The Cross and the false self

- The Cross and confession

- How Jesus bears our wounds

- OUr security in God's love

WHERE AND WHEN IS THE NEXT CROSSCURRENT PROGRAM?

The next program begins on January 22, 2009 and will run for 8 consecutive Thursday evenings ending on March 12, 2009. CrossCurrent will be hosted by St. John's Shaughnessy, which is located on the southeast corner of Granville and Nanton. Each session will run from 730pm-930pm.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS TO GET IN?

Request an application form from the Living Waters Canada office (contact information is below), and return the completed form with a $25 application fee. Space is limited, so an early application is encouraged.

The fee to enroll in CrossCurrent, which includes a booklet, is $150. Payment is required prior to the start date in order to reserve a spot.

這是從聽過《使者》的年青人的戀愛故事而引發的一個研討會,
希望能與年青人從真理中建立一個更健康,更有意義的戀愛歷程。
世界上沒有一人拿著一個「愛情學位」步進一段單戀或相戀的經歷中。
愛情就是一個終生學習的過程。

當中的感受,情緒,思想和掙扎,無論是基督徒與否也要面對。
我們常說願意把我們的生命與戀愛奉獻給神使用,
但如果我們從來都不懂得何為健康關係,我們怎能說把最好的給神呢?
《使者》體會每個年青人在戀愛路上的掙扎,
有時也叫我們跟他們一同流淚,
我們甘願與他們同步戀愛路,因為這是我們對年青信徒門徒訓練重要的一環。

1. Stumbling in Sexuality - Guys only [ Conducted in English) (by Mr. Dan Gowe & guests - Addiction counselor, Volunteer counselor in Living Waters Canada)

- As simple as that: ‘Men are weak in this sexualized world that is saturated with sexually provoking materials!’ Dan, an addiction counsellor, and his guests would like to instill hope in those who are willing to explore and to struggle in their sexuality by sharing real stories from men who once struggled in pornography addiction and how they searched for hope in their faith through Christ.

2. Healing from broken relationship 處理失戀 (by Mrs. Loretta Ng - Registered Clinical Counselor)

- 失戀無人願嘗，但若能妥善地處理，它會成為一個祝福。它使我們變得更趨成熟，更加認知，更憧得愛，更能去愛，更可被愛，更敢去愛！

3. Understanding brokenness in false intimacy (by Mr. Alan Yu & Ms. Lorraine Cheung)

- 有人話：「如果兩個成年人，兩情相悅嘅時候又肯負責任，做好避孕，係婚前有性行為有乜嘢不好？」
又有人話：「自慰係我自己的事，又唔會傷害任何人，有乜嘢不好？」
你有聽過你身邊的人講過嘛？… 我們就有 …
好多時候，我們對呢 d 看法令我們唔識點去回應，可能係因為我們根本對intimacy的觀念一知半解，更有可能係呢 d 就係我嘅觀念！
就等我地由聖經嘅角度去睇下婚前性行為，同性戀和sexual addiction背後嘅故事。

1. "So Close but So Far Away": Intimacy for Christian Singles [Conducted in English] (by Dr. Sean Ho - Assistant Professor at Trinity Western University)

- The Bible says, "No sex before marriage", right? But here weare, Christian singles, yearning for intimacy in a cold world.
700 Facebook friends, but we're longing for just one companionto share life with. What's a Christian single to do? Let'sgo back to Genesis as we find our home in Christ.

2. 家庭舞台 (by Mrs. Rosamond Chan - Registered Clinical Counsellor)

- 家庭是每個人最重要的生活舞台。我們曾經如何活在原生家庭(Family of origin)的舞台上﹐往往是影響著我們今天的人際關係。讓我們一起再發現自己的成長之路﹐從中發掘出面對戀愛關係的新契機。

3. Friendship 101: Supporting friends with intimacy brokenness (by Ms. Lorraine Cheung & Ms. Ice Lee)

- 你曾經試過借你嘅膊頭比你剛剛失戀（或失暗戀）好友大喊一場嘛？
你曾經試過有朋友找你聽佢地訴苦嘛？
你曾經試過對著朋友的一大堆關係上的問題一頭霧水嘛？
想講出佢地嘅缺點，但係又怕傷害佢地嘅脆弱心靈；但如果唔講出來，我又好似埋沒自己的良心？佢地唔同我說，我又怕佢地無人關心；同我說，我又唔知點幫佢地！
做朋友又真係好難做呀！
