Recruiting for THE JUBILANT

Join THE JUBILANT 1-year worship-discipleship learning experience now and grow deep spiritually through worship!

Worship

The Jubilant is a group of student worshippers under the leadership of Ambassadors For Christ in Canada (AFC). We are committed to pursue spiritual growth through participating in worship. Through the organization of the Adventio worship event, members of the Jubilant learn how to plan and lead a holistic worship event, reflect life-relevant issues biblically, practice life-changing spiritual disciplines, and connect their faith with everyday life. Members will have the opportunity to involve in various worship arts, including singing, praise leading, playing musical instruments, dramatic scripture reading, working with sound system, designing visual elements for worship, writing and performing drama skits, and much more.

Growth

It is a great opportunity to grow deeper in your discipleship through engaging and experiencial means. We nurture growth not only in skills but also in spirituality, emotional maturity as well as the intellectual mind. You will also enjoy the fellowship of disciples from different church backgrounds.

Join Us

Any Christian between the age 16 to 25 with an active church life who wants to grow deeper spiritually is welcome to join. It will be a plus if you have experience in singing or playing a musical instrument, but these skills are not mandatory. We will interview all applicants to determine their eligibility.

Commitment

It is a 1-year commitment with the following terms:

Participate in the production of 2 Adventio worship events. Each production team will meet about 8 times in the 4 months prior to the event.
Attend 6 regular member meetings and 4 Adventio events which you are not part of the production team. Only 4 absences are allowed before you are dismissed from the group.
Attend the Jubilant Camp on Jan 14-15, 2011.
Attend the 6-session fundamental worship-discipleship course “Pursuing Spiritual Transformation” offered at the beginning of 2011.
The above amounts to meeting about 2 times per 3 weeks.
