拉法基金會情緒四重奏密集課程

為了幫助世界各地有需要的人,拉法基金會將於8月到溫哥華舉辦三個課程「Level 1成人/家長密集課程」、「Level 1青少年密集課程」及「Level 1教牧密集課程」。

2010年首三個月已經有1000多個華人移民抵達溫哥華

According to Community Airport Newcomers Network, in the first 3 months of 2010, there has been thousands of chinese new immigrant arriving Vancouver

Do you know them?

當中不少是希望子女可以受到更好的教育而選擇移民到大溫哥華地區。但不少新移民學生對適應本地學習以至生活遇到不少困難。

Many of them choose to immigrant to Vancouver because of the quality education for their children here. However, many of the newly immigrated students have difficulties adjusting to the local education system and to the living style.

Do you know we need you?

我們希望借著每個禮拜六的下午在使者學生中心舉辦的I.S.Zone 互動自修地帶,功課輔肋服務,讓一班本地短期宣教士可以透過幫助學生解決功課上的困難,分享自己的學習,信仰及生命的經驗,幫助他們適應本地生活,並體驗和經歷福音。

We hope that in every Saturday afternoon through the“I.S.Zone academic assistance program”at AFC Student Centre, local short-term MISSIONARIES are able to not only help students solve their academic problems but also act as their peer mentors. Through mentoring, we hope the local short- term MISSIONARIES can demonstrate and embody the Gospel of Christ to the students.

本地短期宣教士應徵條件

Short-term missionary requirement

· 現正就讀大專或已大學畢業(任何學系) Currently studying in post-secondary institute or has already earned a bachelor degree. (All faculties are welcome)

· 已經重生得救的基督徒 Born again Christian

· 能操流利廣東話/普通話及英語 Be able to communicate in Cantonese/Mandarin and English fluently

· 有服務學生的熱誠,如有相關經驗更好 Passionate in serving students. A plus if you have related experience

· 所有短期宣教士都必須參與全套暑期訓練。 It is compulsory for all short-term missisonaries to attend as part of the project

Duration:

2010年8月到2011年1月 (8月份有兩次訓練,9月中 IS Zone 服務正式開始)

August 2010 to January 2011 (Training in August and I.S.Zone Service begins in the middle of September)

Training:

加拿大基督使者協會將會在開學前與溫哥華基督徒短期宣教訓練中心一起提供訓練去裝備有心志的本地宣教士參與這個本地宣教計劃。

AFC Vancouver and VCCSTMTC will provide training together to equip local short-term MISSIONARIES before school starts.

8/14 (星期六 Saturday):

團隊訓練,補習技巧,門徒訓練,異象分享

Team building, tutoring skills, discipleship training and vision sharing

8/28 (星期六 Saturday):

基本宣教概念,個人佈道及見證分享

Basic MISSIONARY concept and testimony sharing

Commitment:

我們希望各個短期宣教士除了解答學生功課上的困難,更可以成為學生的聆聽者及同行者。

因此,我們希望每位宣教士每星期在 IS Zone 參與事奉最少3個小時,再加上必須出席每個月的團隊聚會。

(如有事不能出席 I.S.Zone,請在兩個星期前提早通知,以便安排人手應付)

We hope that other than academic assistance, the short-term MISSIONARIES will also be able to listen to the students and accompany them in their daily walk of life. Therefore, we hope that the short-term MISSIONARIES can contribute at least 3 hours every week serving in I.S.Zone and attend the monthly team gathering.

(We understand that sometimes the short- term MISSIONARIES may not able to make it to I.S.Zone every week, if that happens, please kindly let us know two weeks ahead for alternative arrangements.)
