Blood Donor Clinic coming up next Friday, November 10th in Richmond is in need of many donors.

Appointments are recommended and can be booked by calling 1888 2 DONATE.
When you are there, remember to mention that you are a "Partners for Life" from Ambassadors For Christ! Then they'll count your donation on our account. Thanks!
BEFORE DONATING:
- be sure to bring identification to the clinic when you donate (full name with picture, or full name with signature);
- be sure to eat breakfast or lunch (depending on the time of your appointment) before donating;
- be well-hydrated and avoid drinking too much coffee before donating;

I know it's a stupid question, but can I drink tea instead of coffee?

Hey Alan, I was the one who called in to the program a few weeks ago when you guys were talking about blood donation. Remember me? I mentioned that Canadian Blood Services are setting the requirement to 110lbs (which many Asians don't qualify), and then complain that Asians aren't enthusiatic in giving blood. And then you guys actually called Canadian Blood Services to find out...
Well, just want to let you, and others know that 110lbs IS NOT A MUST. For smaller size Asian girls, eg height 5'2", requirement is min 100lbs.
And therefore, I already booked an appointment for this coming Friday for donation in Richmond. AND WHAT A COINCIDENCE that I heard you guys just on Sunday about calling people to join this Friday!

To Matt: Well, the point is don't take in too much caffeine. So it depends on what kind of tea you're drinking.
