我雖然並不完全同意作者的觀點,不過非常認同他說到社會很容易將基督徒的觀點片面化,一棍打成保守落伍。相反地,我們又有否將贊成同性戀者的聲音片面化成一句道德敗壞?真正的溝通,斷不能建立在膚淺的通論化(generalization)之上。基督徒的聲音要被聽見,必須先要是有洞見,有質素,有學養,有異象,有承擔的聲音。

It is an irony to note that, in most medium size dictionaries, the word homosexual comes next to the word Homo sapiens. I think Christians should consoldate their views on the issue under the leadership from the highest level of the Church. Indeed, homosexuality is only one of the many moral issues confronting Christian as a religion in these days. Immature responds from individual Christians to outside critics may sometimes tarnish the good image of Christianity as a whole. Personally I view homosexuality as one of the many different typies of deviance found among Homo sapiens.

hmm... i really appreciate the space you've created for a more meaningful dialogue on this issue. i came across this quote the other day...
